Mac Users of Excel, Unite!

Even though you are now 10% of the Excel population, you are derided and despised by Windows/Excel users.  Help me put together a set of hints for sophisticated Excel users of the Mac persuasion.  Send me your hints and suggestions, and if I include them in this page, you’ll get name/email credit.

Fn + backspace:  deletes cell contents but doesn’t put you in the cell

Backspace:  deletes cell contents and leaves you in the cell

F4 within a formula

Toggles the dollar signs to make cell references absolute

Repeats last command

Alt + F11

Opens VBA editor

Alt + Fn + F11
